Open Since 1987 McDonough's Restaurant and Lounge, located on McDonough Street across from the Savannah Theatre, is definitely a local's hangout. It combines offbeat locals and a steady tourist crown, and also mixes a traditional Irish pub with a more modern karaoke bar (consistently voted best in the city). McDonough's also serves a full late-night menu until 2:30 a.m..

Within the tavern, Billy Lee(Owner) has created two separate, but equal spaces. One room captures the more traditional "pub" feel with its wrap-around bar and low ceiling and the other room is much larger and has a sports bar theme with the large flat screen tv's and this is where the karaoke goes down.
